Warranty Terms and Conditions

Livguard Energy Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (LETPL) warrants its longer backup PCU to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of (Two) 2 years after initial delivery. This obligation is limited to servicing any instrument or part returned to authorised service centre for that purpose and to making good any parts there off which shall, within the warranty period, the returned to company or authorised service centre under a written intimation and which to company’ satisfaction be found defective. The company reserve the right to decide as to whether the repair work should be carried out in the company's service centre or at site or any other place. The freight incurred for to and fro dispatch of the defective material will have to be borne by the customer only, and the transit risk for the material will rest with the purchaser.

The warranty does not extend to any parts of instrument which have been subjected to misuse, accident. Further, this warranty does not extend to any instrument which has been tempered with by any agencies not authorized by the company. The warranty will be valid for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase of the instrument if use within its specification. The warranty for the replaced components will lapse along with that the main instrument, LETPL reserve the right to make changes in design and specification without notice and without any obligation to install changes in units previous supplied.

In no circumstances the company and its distributor or dealer is liable for consequences or incidental damage or for any expenses incurred by the buyer or due to sale of the product sold by LETPL, directly or through its authorized distributors and dealers or any third party until supervised otherwise or contractual from this warranty is made expressly in lieu of all other liabilities and obligation on parts of LETPL title to the instrument passes to the buyer upon delivery to the common carrier.

The warranty of your PCU shall become null and void If:

  • The PCU is transferrable to a third party.
  • The PCU is found to be mishandled.
  • The PCU is not connected properly and is deployed to wrong use.
  • The content (E.g. Date of purchase, credential, etc.) of the warranty card and invoice are found to be tempered.
  • The serial number on the bar code is not same as that on the PCU.
  • In case, the defective PCU is replaced or repaired free of cost, the warranty of such a PCU will commence from the date of purchase of the original warranty card. Also, the defective PCU then becomes a property of the company and no rebate or scrap value will be given for it.
  • Breakages of the container or socket of the PCU are not covered by this warranty.
  • Reason of accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, improper installation (If not undertaken by the company or its representative).
  • Fire flood, any other act of God and any other natural calamities.
  • The warranty on the PCU being replaced free of cost shall commence from the date of sale of the original PCU as stated on the original PCU booklet and not from the date of the replacement given.
  • All disputed are subjected to jurisdiction of civil court at Gurugram, Haryana.

Steps For PCU Installation:

  • Installation shall be done by a qualified technician.
  • Switch OFF the supply to the distributor point to which the PCU is to be connected.
  • Check the build wiring. Improper wiring could result in unit damage which is not covered in warranty.
  • Keep the front switch of PCU in OFF position.
  • Connect the battery to PCU as per its correct polarity.
  • Switch ON the front switch a measure the output voltage on output voltage on output socket, it should be as per the specification a switch off the PCU.
  • Connect the load wore to the line point of output plug a Place the output plug into the socket of the PCU.
  • Switch on the PCU through the front panel.
  • Gradually put the load on PCU and verify the load as specified.
  • Connect the input plug of PCU to the commercial mains socket on correct polarity.
